Great facility EXCEPT for memory care. My father transitioned from assisted care to memory care several months ago. Sad to say that the residents in memory care seem to be overlooked when it comes to their meals . Meals are routinely Served late, making the residents sit at the table for an hour or more. Then when the meals are served, they are usually cold . Very sad situation for residents who are paying a premium price for their care. We have repeatedly expressed our displeasure with this situation, and are repeatedly told it will be addressed, however it has yet to be . Very sad situation for residents that do not Have much to look forward to in the course of their day. A hot meal served on time is not too much to ask, especially given the premium cost charged for their care . We did have a good experience with assisted living, and cannot understand why this great care is not extended to the memory care residents.

Our families experience with the staff at Clarendale of Addison was wonderful, from start to finish. Our first meetings and visits were filled with so many questions regarding placing our Aunt in the Memory Care residence. Kim guided us through and answered all of our questions, from care level, living arrangements, activities, medical support team and so much more…. When we admitted our Aunt our family felt very comfortable and assured we had made the right decision. The staff has such a great team spirit and positive attitude and was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Clarendale of Addison.

My mom has been at Clarendale of Addison since April 2022. It was the best thing we could have done for her. The administration, staff, and caregivers are the kindest group of people I have met. They are very caring and considerate of everyone’s needs. It did take my Mom a couple months to get used to being there, but now it’s her home and she loves it. When I took the tour, I said I could live here. I would not hesitate to have a family member at Clarendale. They are beyond awesome!

My father was a resident at Clarendale of Addison and our family was very happy with the care he received during his residency. We were especially thankful and happy with his caregivers. So very compassionate and caring with all the residents, including my father, even during the pandemic! I will always be thankful for the care and assistance provided by the nursing staff, the caregivers, and management. My father’s apartment and surroundings were kept clean and pleasant. I would like to recommend Clarendale of Addison to other families. A five-star recommendation!!!!

This is my first experience into senior living. My thoughts went back to the sad nursing home I walked into where my Grandmother lived over 30 years ago. But happily that was not the case. Clarendale is a warm and welcoming community to work and live. It makes my heart happy to share stories, hugs and everyday life with my residents and our team. The kind, caring and compassionate environment I have become part of opened my eyes to what senior living should be. Thank you to Clarendale staff for all you do for the residents. You touch the lives of our seniors each and every day.

Clarendale was a God send to me and my family during a very trying time. The minute you walk through the door you can see what beautiful and extremely well cared for facility this is. Every staff member we have dealt with could not be more welcoming or helpful. Making the transition to assisted living can be difficult, but Clarendale sure knows how to do right. Knowing that my Mom is happy and well cared for means the world to me. I would highly recommend this wonderful facility.

Clarendale of Addison is a great close-knit community. Management and staff genuinely care about its residents. The residents themselves are also very welcoming and friendly. The residents’ days are filled with fun activities and outings to participate in. There are also activities for staff and residents to engage in. It’s overall a warm and inviting atmosphere.
